Songtext: Gimme Good News
The news is all so dark
Like daggers in the heart
Clouds of thunder, bring me under
I want to see the light
Not countries in a fight
There must be something else
Hey hey hey
Gimme good news for a change
I need love and not the pain
So gimme good news for a change
Hey hey hey
The world seems such a mess
So much unhappiness
War, starvation in every nation
Nobody seems to care
Disaster everywhere
Can anybody help
Hey hey hey
Gimme good news for a change
I need love and not the pain
Gimme good news for a change
Hey hey hey
Hey hey hey
Gimme good news for a change
I need love and not the pain
Gimme good news for a change
Hey hey hey
There is sun behind the clouds
(And) I've heard happy people shout
No more hiding, come out smiling
Maybe we can't change the world
But we can get what we deserve
Our share of happiness
Hey hey hey
Gimme good news for a change
I need love and not the pain
Gimme good news for a change
Hey hey hey
